Vision and Values

A cohousing community is a living arrangement whereby, every home is private, the community encourages social interaction and keeping a friendly supportive awareness of neighbours. This includes willingness to compromise/work out differences and agreements. 

Halton Senior Cohousing values are aimed at sustainability. It is every member’s responsibility to examine their personal impact on the environment.  Members will strive to be respectful and non-judgemental yet encouraging and supportive.

If you think cohousing is a lifestyle you would choose, please contact us. Once lockdown is over, we would like to meet you and let you get to know us. We hold social events, workdays and meetings from time to time which you could join in.

Please state how you would prefer to be contacted.  We will add your email to the member’s list and you will be invited to events and receive minutes of the steering group.  Your email will be kept on the contact list within the gmail account and will not be shared with anyone else without your permission.  Your address will be kept on file in our member’s book held by the secretary.

What type of unit are you interested in?  Two bed house, two bed flat, one bed flat.

Once you have been accepted as a member there is an annual subscription of £25.00.

The membership is renewed every year April 1st.  New members who have joined in the last 3 months prior to April 1st will be covered until the following April.
